I know, I know, you will be saying that we change all the time, ... but, did you not want to know the process, the evolution, the musical growth of The Billie Davies Band...everything else, from flowers to birds change everyday... :) Well, here is another update... Jacob Joon somehow could not make our cut either a week or so into it to both Daniel and my surprise, so we went on a search for another "different" bass player and, so I am very happy to announce that we actually have found, coming out of the blue..., the perfect Bass for this music in ADAM LEVY. THE VERY FINAL LINE-UP FOR THE BILLIE DAVIES BAND. Billie Davies- drums Daniel Coffeng- guitar Adam Levy- bass ... this time I know we have found each other. My calling has been answered, and the answer came in the shape of Billie Davies- Drums, from Brugge, Daniel Coffeng- Guitar, from Amsterdam, Adam Levy- Bass, from Tampa. Daniel and I came to the US in search of the roots of Jazz, following a calling...

INTRODUCING: The Billie Davies Band ...Yessss!!! The name has changed... BILLIE DAVIES - Drums DANIEL COFFENG - Guitar MANNY SILVERA - Bass and last but not least, MIKE DAVIES - Recording and Sound Technology.   Currently working on the new album, " 12 Volt "... The whole idea for "12 Volt" came to me as we started feeling ready to move away from Hollywood and return to nature and a little more simplicity. The home in Napa became the perfect suited place for laying down the foundation for "12 Volt" as it is wine country, as well as being very much similar to some of the Wine regions in France, especially the Bordeaux regions around the city of Bordeaux, bordering Basque country, but also a lot like Tuscany... That is where I lived the bohemian life, from Montpellier to Perpignan to Toulouse and to Biarritz and La Roc...

I have not been around much in the last two weeks and will probably persist for another 2 to 3 weeks, but here is why... :) oh yes... of course you need to click the link below if you really want to know why... Our album, all about Love , has been well received by the Jazz critics in the US, http://www.billiedavies.com/BillieDaviesTrio_Press.html , and according to the Radio reports, we have gotten quite a bit of Radio Play, in Canada, the US, South America and Europe... We're still in Napa right now, but very busy loading everything in the RV and getting organized, waiting for a new toilet for the RV and Mike is busy getting the trailer ready for Maximum safe storage of music instruments and all kinds of stuff we cannot live without lol... . Will send photos once our 'caravan' is ready... :) We wish to leave Napa by/around December 10, my birthday... it's not written in stone yet, but it is what we are hoping for. And of course we will have a little small for good friends only going away party. Then it's off South to L.A. where we will be finishing and recording " 12 Volt ...
